Got this in change this morning at a WaWa. I wonder if there were anymore in the drawer.

That's a really nice copper cent! Not worth much, but certainly a neat find.

Still a lusterbomb, after 53 years in the wild! I wonder where that puppy spent most of its time over the last several decades…

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

Cool catch. That would be great for an album, jmo

Someone just dumped some rolled coins that they searched. I have several hundred mid-60s uncirculated cents waiting to be cashed in at some point.

Just remember...the advice you receive on the site is worth every bit of what you paid for it.

That must have come right from an old change jar. Cool find!

It went into the 7070 replacing the 2007 Lincoln.

That's cool. A real blazer. I'd guess someone is "liquidating" a collection or hoard. Perhaps emptying out a Dansco or Whitman or even dumping rolls of coins.

It is fun putting stuff like that into circulation hoping someone finds it. A year ago I dumped some Buffalo's and Jefferson's from an old album. Fun adding wheaties in too.

1973 cents also have a reverse design that was only used that year. Look at the size of the 'FG'!

See, these are the things that I’m here for on this forum. Always something to learn. I would have never known. 👍🏻

Awesome find! I had a similar find around 5 years or so ago. Now in my 7070 Type Cent... for the princely sum of 1 cent! ;)

Nice little score, I always check my change for this specific reason. :)
