Fun trip to the local antique mall
I recently picked up a nice starter set of 200+ 1971 OPC, so was keeping my eyes open for any more in my area. I walked into the local antique mall and lo and behold there were 7 HOFers tucked in the corner of a showcase. 6 were low numbers and all 6 were priced too high for raw (even considering how tough these are to find). The guy would not haggle, but oh well.
The 7th card you may ask? Well...

Granted, there is a light crease in the upper left corner. Automatic PSA 3 tops, I assume. No matter, if low numbered '71 OPCs are maybe 10% the print run of '71 Topps, this one (series 5 of 6) is a fraction of that.
No need to haggle, I think you'll agree.
*Roughly $18.50 for my American friends

This might motivate me to track down all 51 HOFers.

Best of luck on your trek.
curious what part of the country do you live in?

71 OPC is probably my favorite o pee chee year. I LOVE those backs
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Wow on the price of that Clemente! You got a great deal!
1971 OPC is the king of all OPC sets, and this is the king card of the set. Clemente, along with Yaz, are the most expensive cards in the set.
The print run of the 1971 OPC high numbers (524-752) might be way less than 10% of the Topps release. 1971 OPC high numbers are super scarce and super difficult to find.
buying O-Pee-Chee (OPC) baseball cards
also collecting US & Canadian silver coins
That is a score right there! Very nice and tough card. Another tough card (besides the aforementioned Clemente and Yaz) is the 6th series checklist (which is actually part of the 5th series).
