Apparently, a collector/investor was anxious to sell a 1959 Mickey Mantle PSA-8.5 (73339719) from the PSA Vault. I was watching it on eBay...and it was initially listed for $35,000...then dropped it to $32,500 (I might have received an offer at $32,500)...then another drop to $29,500 before accepting an offer at $21,500. I recently inquired how to find out what a Best Offer sold for.
Well, another 1959 Mickey Mantle PSA-8.5 (120299637) is on a Memory Lane Auction ending tonight (1/31)...and it is sitting at $47,257 w/20% Buyer's premium.
Geez, talking about leaving money on the table. Here are two cards in discussion taken from the PSA Certification lookup.

I had high hopes when seeing title of this thread that it was Memory Lane again choosing to store valuable cards in a supply closet of a Best Western.
