Only my third rattler

Rattlers are becoming very sought after and commanding strong premiums. If they have a CAC sticker, then even more so. I got this one at CAC guide price, which I thought was very fair. Only three or four of this issue with this combo have ever sold on HA and GC combined. So, even though I wasn’t in the market, I decided to pull the trigger, as I didn’t want this one to pass me on by. I think this one is better than 63 but I would be a fool to crack it out. This is a better date, too. So, Into my Morgan box of 20 it goes, which is almost full, now. This is number 19.
And yes, there will be a box # 2. I think a good idea will be to use one box for keys and semi keys and the second box for the more common dates/mm examples. For those of you who know my collecting habits, I tend to stay in the MS 63 to 64 range for my Morgans. They are PCGS only. Unlike Walkers, they tend to be available, just as long as you have the funds ready.

looks very good!
The Green Bean/Rattler is a fun combo. I have a few of each, but none with both. I think you were wise to grab this when you had the chance.
I've got only one (1.2 Gen 1986-1989 ) 1949-S MS64 Franklin.
Cool! That’s a key date! Let’s see it!!

Yeah, thanks. This slab is in perfect condition and the coin isn’t rotated or anything. It’s in there pretty snug for a rattler. The Coin is very choice, too. I knew right away that I had to do it and that it wouldn’t last very long, if I didn’t. Sometimes, you just know that you must act or you will regret it if you don’t.

Definitely looks like it had a shot at the coveted gold bean, which would have driven up the price considerably.
Nice pickup!

Thanks.
Nice date, looks a bit under-graded, and great combination of certifications. You did great with this pickup! Congrats!
