    I've never trusted Cod. This whole thing seems "abraisivly" fishy to me.

    Did they find this error in rolls directly from the mint or in general circulation (or both)?

    Well, I'll give you and answer. It is not an error at all, it is just the font the mint used for the newer quarters with a very small serif on the G, they are all like that.

    The widespread misinformation on ebay can really cause new collectors to flounder around trying to figure things out.

    it is not an error. and they are all like that. it is just the font and this general shape of the G can be found o other coins.

    This reminds me of another cool error...my Peace Dollar is definitely spelled wrong! It says In God We Trvst That U is clearly a V. Must be worth a fortune....checking the Bay now.

    Yes, everywhere in ebay. Many are sellers with little to no feedback putting ridiculous prices on them.
