What is the difference between BD1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 for the 1800 $5 draped bust half eagle?
I know that BD 1 has the pointed one and the rest have the blunt 1. I am not sure about the differences for BD 2 through 5. Bass had three varieties that I know of, but really did not go into details of two of them. At least from my book on his collection.
Any assistance will be appreciated.
