  • Ya think ? Not sure how it’s been sitting in a cardboard flip , then the sleeves ( from Mylar flips, white ) then over the outside of coin too keep it in the dark, then into a small coin envelope and seal it up air tight ! That was over 10 years ago , it’s the only way I can keep Lincoln’s from changing colors, seems too work on most of them , thanks for input , I’m open for all suggestions thanks Dano

Looks like you favor collecting heavily damaged coins from your change. There is no need to worry at all about how they are kept or whether they tone or not. They may be spent at any time without a second thought.

  • Not really just was starting out I cut open way too many sets , so I stored them , many a times, lost as I went along , over the years , trying too figure out how to store them , so I’ve learned at a cost , and I presume too take a few shots at some of the top pop coins , a great hobby , for me really , better off since I changed bad ways. Thanks Dano

Forget about top pop coins, errors and varieties. Those aren't right for you.

One nice way to store your coins is in a Whitman folder or Dansco album.

If that doesn't appeal to you, you can also store them in a bucket.
