This coin came out of the same collection as my recently posted OGH MS66 CAC Hawaiian, Top Pop Gold CAC Bay Bridge, and Top Pop Gold CAC Gettysburg. There are still a lot of coins waiting to be posted.
Not a coin for everyone but I thought the commem collectors out there might enjoy it.

Amazing gold CAC. I’ve never come across any gold stickered yet, and you keep finding and posting more. Congrats! Zack.
Thanks @jfriedm56 I was extremely lucky to get this grouping of coins. You are correct, not easy to find and expensive when you do find a nice one.
The commems you have posted have been outstanding. The series seems to be taking off and getting more competitive. I just went to a dealer site and pre FUN he had over 25 commems for sale. Post FUN every single one is marked SOLD.

That’s a beauty!
We’re in the Elgin area and occasionally ride bikes past the sculpture in downtown Elgin.
In the ‘70’s before certification, the going price for BU Elgins was about $35.
Recently, I met a decendant of the designer, Trygve Rovelstad who showed me a few mint state coins their family has held onto.
That’s great @Veep
Thanks for sharing the information.
This one came from an Elgin resident. Part of what makes it so special to me.

I never knew how to pronounce his name and the family told me that it is Terg-vee
Thanks @pcgscacgold. I have been fortunate enough to have found a brother duo of dealers at a local show in my area that carry a nice assortment of these classic Commems. I’ve definitely had to pay up for some of them, but I find their history and artistry so interesting. They have become one of my favorite new series and this is what collecting I believe is all about. Keep on posting your beauties. I truly enjoy seeing your posts. Thanks again, Zack.
I don’t think I’ve seen a better strike at the mother and baby. Actually the whole damn coin. 👍
I have a soft spot for this design since I can recall holding one for the first time, perhaps 40+ years ago, and being struck by its swirling, subtle luster. This issue has an interesting luster and it just makes the coin look really cool. I like yours very much.
