The energy at the show was electric, and our hobby is alive and well!

I attended both Thursday and Friday, which is a day more than usual and gave me enough time to walk the full bourse twice. I dropped a couple submissions at PCGS and ANACS, engaged the photography services of @messydesk , and met up with fellow forumites including @Catbert and @lermish and a larger group for dinner.

I came into the show without any serious purchase goals, so I enjoyed perusing without any pressure. There were many rarities on the show floor, but I think my favorite was seeing a 1933 Indian Eagle on display. I left the show on Friday with three new coins—two AU58 CAC $10 Indians that I’ve posted in other threads, and…

This wonderfully captivating and colorful Winged Liberty dime. Not a coin I was seeking out, and she doesn’t give me any extra registry points for my type set, but I’ll be damned if this isn’t one of the coolest toned Mercs I’ve come across. Great upgrade to the type set, great trip, great show…I’ll be back next year.
