Deep end of the pool 👍
Really nice coin!
Congrats.
Got a few I've been looking for! Sorry, not the greatest picture...
It was $10 for the hideous plastic and came with a free BU merc!🤣
(There's a long and uninteresting story about why I bought it. I also picked up a few trade dollars but will do a separate post for that.)

Wow! Congratulations and nice meeting you yesterday at Desert Moons table!
Nice
Nice pick up, @safari_dude!
Here’s mine:
Excellent full rims and original skin! That’s a great looking 4 @safari_dude
Thanks! Those are some beauties you picked up! Love the 1850 1¢.
Thank you. I only saw two after several hours of searching….and the one I didn’t buy was $1K less, same grade, with a big scratch on the cheek that I just couldn’t get past….and no CAC either.
Barbers often circam nicely, that one sure did.
This was an ‘impulse buy’ for grins. PCI holder….but the coin just really said ‘please buy me!’…so I did! 😉

@wood great pickup on that Eagle in the 2nd gen OGH. I came across that one on the bourse and should have pulled the trigger. I believe the $10 Indians are decently scarce in this holder. If you look at GC’s archives, there are only 7 that have been auctioned in their history, which equates to less than one per year.
I did pick up this one at FUN, though, although I bought & paid for it in advance. These are the seller’s photos. The luster and eye appeal is excellent and there is just some high point friction on the obverse that keeps it a 58. I paid less than a 10% premium over melt and consider it “fun bullion”.

Nothing is as expensive as free money.
@P0CKETCHANGE that is a beaut, great buy. The $10 Indian is one of my favorite coins. I almost couldn’t believe the deals on these, I also got mine for less than 10% over melt.
I looked into it and you’re right, there aren’t many of them sold. According to the CAC population report, this is actually the only 1908 Motto MS60 that’s stickered too.
There’s a 61 with a gold bean up for auction at heritage right now, I viewed the lot in person while I was at FUN. It’s a really nice coin, but bids already have it 50% more expensive than the 60 I got, so I’m super happy with my find.
Doesn’t look like a SEGS holder to me. Second photo looks PCI or Hallmark
Oops…you are 100% correct. I’ll fix the post. Thanks!
Great coin, with a lot of claims to G-6. Congratulations!

Here’s another FUN show pickup. I felt like the 1911 needed a friend. Possibly the start of a Philly date set. The seller had 7 or 8 Indian Eagles in 58 CAC, all in old blue holders.

Nothing is as expensive as free money.
Been wanting one of these for awhile. CACG Proof 68 Has the L for Legacy which means JA approved the grade too.
The Twentieth Century key!I love it!
That 1901-S is nice. I have seen a lot worse in a 4 holder.
Thanks! This was only one of two I saw at the show…and the other one was also a G04 but wasn’t CAC’d and had a big scratch on the cheek that would have driven me nuts had I bought it. I’m happy with this coin….and marked one of my ‘want’ coins off my list! Cheers, karl
