My brother found a roll of 1976-s proof clad roll of quarters he put away back in 1976. He's wondering the value of the roll. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: Cu/Ni Clad was amended to the title.
Depends if they are silver clad or copper-nickel clad.

I have a price guide listing a roll at $30. eBay has a couple at $200 with a few past sales over $100.
These wholesale at about $22 / roll if there are no bad ones
Most rolls are easier to just spend than wholesale especially if they are discolored or tarnished. Most buyers are retail.
Retail prices vary widely.
$22/roll for proof coins? Never thought that low.

They are very common from that period. Proof set mintages were 6x or 7x greater than today. And the Bicentennial year...
That said, the retail bottom assists to be $60 or $70 on ebay.
Greysheet is $80

Wow! When did that go up? My old one (aug '22) lists $30 and I've seen no increased buying interest.
I don't know. It wouldn't surprise me if someone is running a promo for the semiquincentennial
