1990 Score Sandberg 3B - error vs corrected - any way to tell off wax case codr
Anyone know if there is any way to tell if a 1990 Score Wax/rack case has error vs corrected based off the case code ?
And does the Sandberg 3B error have any real value these days ?
I remember 1990 as the “year of the error” - literally almost half that Donruss set had mistakes (lines through names/Gonzalez flipped photo) and Score had quite a few. Sandberg was the hot one though and recall it selling equal to the ‘89 UD Murphy and ‘89 Fleer Ripken in the day.
Also remember they corrected the position rather quickly - want to say by late January 1990 (product shipped in late Nov/early December).
Just picking up another couple of cases and curious. Obviously junk wax so little to no value on anything that’s not the Bo B/W card or Frank Thomas - but man that was such a great looking set in the day. Too bad they literally made a billion of them.

Funny enough I was just looking at 1990 Score cases (Earl Cunningham card) and was able to figure out the date system based on case stamp which is more direct about the date than Topps and Fleer of the era. Id aim for November or early December stamps for a shot at the early errors.
