1995 penny looks weird
I’m pretty sure it is pmd. It doesn’t look like it was run over, but could be and just the letters fell off. Can I move on from this? I dunno it’s just weirdo. Thank you for looking.

Please do.
Could it be strike doubling, misalignment, die break, grease, weak strike, anything like that? It has the outline ridges for the lettering and numbers too, but half of them aren’t filled in on the inside.
I do understand the sarcasm, I am not claiming to be knowledgeable, as to why I’m here, just trying to see what my Dad saw in this. I never knew my father attempted collecting coins. He had left some Cheerios coins, silver, proof sets and wheat pennies. He had these coins that he would label with different errors. Nothing major, but I’m trying to gain more understanding to try to see the world the way he did a bit. I really found the wrong place, seemingly more advanced. Thank you so much for your time!
Tuff crowd. Sorry. You're right. It DOES look weird.
I'm really not sure what's going on there, especially on E PLURIBUS UNUM. But I think you're right to suspect PMD of some kind.

If anything welcome to the forums (or whatever we do here)
How about high resolution images of the entire obverse and the reverse (2 images).

Is there a Cheerios gold dollar?
A Cheerios cent?
Impossible to say much from your photos, some are out of focus and blown out with too much light. We need good high rez in focus photos of the entire obv and rev, not highly magnified chopped up bits of the coin in order to get a sense of what the coin looks like. Then you can provide closeups if needed/asked for.
We all like to think that our parents and grandparents are/were smart and did things for a reason. But in reality knowledge of coins was not as widespread in the past and things that may have been considered important then are now known to be common and not valuable.
