German Delaware Crossing Medal

1st post! Retiring in 31 days and going through my inventory (for the 1st time in 25 years) and interested in returning to the hobby. Main interest many years ago was Washingtonia, and have a few unique items I am interested in throwing out there for discussion. For today... I have a rarity 8 (per a 1999 Rulau and Fuld), Baker 904 - does anyone know if PCGS will grade this item and what it's rough value would be? It has been protected for many years and in great shape.

There isn't a big collector base for medals created for the 1932 bicentennial of Washington's birth. The 1999 catalog suggests a value of $125 in Unc. That sounds reasonable to me. More broadly, I'd guess $50-250 depending on the phase of the moon.

PCGS says the slab Baker-listed pieces (https://www.pcgs.com/tokensandmedals). If you need something more definitive than that, I think you'll need to contact customer service directly.

This is a large medal (plaque). You're going to have to pay the $20 surcharge for an oversized holder. This is a case where the cost of slabbing might outweigh the benefits.
