2026 coins and your Type Set collection

What are your thoughts on adding any of the new designs to your set. I for one will add the nickel, dime, quarters and half dollar. Im not sure on the others as the cent is just a date difference, I'll wait till I get the set to decide.

    The nickel is just a date difference also.

    It looks like they will be the mint sets for sure. Still have not seen if the 2026 proof set will have these coin too. However, I real hope both sets contain all the dual date coins.

    We might bd approaching a time when the type set has to be split or reduced. As there tends to be just one port each for state quarters, there may be ports labeled "Commemorative Cent", "Commemorative Dime" etc

    Circulating coins only and one example of each “run” similar to state quarters, unless very few, similar to 2009 cents. I only collect slabbed coins for display in Lighthouse trays, no registries, so I can be creative.

    Stamp collectors make the distinction between definitives and commemoratives.
