Just happened to notice many sellers on Ebay who are selling Perth One ounce gold bars for roughly $3,000ish. Many of these sellers have zero feedback. They are not auction style listings, just Buy it Now. What am I missing? I ain't all that smart anyway!!!

i personally avoid gold bars. Quality coins are readily available and easier to resell.

Silver and gold 1oz bars and US coins are being heavily counterfeited by the Chinese. Do a search for "silver bars", "gold bars", and "US coins" on the Ali Express and DHgate web sites to see what are currently being sold. These Chinese web sites are like eBay but larger and safer. They require a credit card when you register. When you buy something from a seller on their web site, they hold your payment in escrow. After you get the merchandise from the vendor and inspect it, you then notify the web site that they can release payment to the seller. The seller never sees your credit card number.
