@lordmarcovan
I have a couple, both crossovers but I have receipts. I am unsure about the necessity of adding pedigree to the label, what is your take? Anyone? This is the first I have heard of any interest in the collection since the sale itself.
I believe the “ Long Island Collection “ pedigree is that of Donald G. Partrick who, when alive, did not want his pedigree in print. Don’s mentor was John Ford Jr until Don’s acquisition of Donald Miller’s token colln thru Ford. But that’s another story.
Thank you much for the info.

I guess that makes three then...! FNDE CT Copper:
None of my "Long Island Collection" or "Ex. Partrick" coins show pedigree. Would those of you that posted here consider it worthwhile to add a "Ex. Donald G. Partrick" pedigree to the PCGS label? Thanks in advance for your feedback.
Donald Partrick of Long Island was a very private collector but quite sociable to those who knew him. His main auction competitors were Bill Anton Jr ( E Pluribus Unum collection consignments to Stacks by his son the III ), & John Roper of Norfolk VA Don’s chief mentors and agents were Jon Hansen & John Ford Jr ( the numerous slabs with Jon Hansen pedigrees were improper as he was merely acting as Hansen’s agent )..
Don was notorious for sitting at the very front of the live auction room, sitting backwards facing other bidders, much as John Pittman used to go to room front, raising his arm and try;to intimidate his bidding competitors ( it didnt work ).
NO slab pedigrees should ever designate an agent or dealer name as part of a
numismatic item pedigree or provenance.
A Don Partrick pedigree is a true valid pedigree as he created a phenomenal early American coin collection over several decades, and knew rarity and condition.. And he overbid me frequently.
His two sons. In NYC realty once had a NY Times full page dedicated to their real estate success.
The Long Island pedigree on these coins are not from the Don Partrick collection. The collector associated with the Long Island pedigree put together a fabulous collection of colonial and federal coinage.
Donald Partrick also collected Canadian Colonial Tokens. They were sold thru Stack's and HA a few years ago. I acquired a few. Here are two:
