Do you get a better price for silver bars than 90% coins when selling to a coin shop. How close to spot if so.

My go to online dealer is buying $100 face .90 coins for $3858 and 10 oz. .999 generic bars for $597. Do the math and let us know the results.

Are you talking generic bars or name brand, what size bars and what quantity? Those factors matter.

Just to compare apples to apples, since 90%, excluding dollars, is .715 troy ozs, at $59.7, its worth $42.68. So you are getting a 10% haircut on the 90%, not a 35% cut.
