What % IF ANY of your Silver Troy Ounce Stack is 90% Constitutional?

We all know what the GSR is. But what about .999 fine vs 90% US Constitutional? Do any of you try and stay at a ratio for this?

no, silver is silver. Purity affects premium and demand.

Currently 25% in junk 90% and 75% .999 or higher gutter metal (technically 26.4%/73.6%). I also have about 125 slabbed Morgan/Peace dollars that I don't count in the ratio. They are gutter but they get placed in the numi category.

The gold stack obviously has significantly higher dollar value than the gutter stack. In terms of physical ounces, continue to add gold and slowly decreasing the gutter. The gold is always extremely liquid, the gutter not so much.

No attempt to ever stay at a certain ratio, gsr, 90%/999 etc. RGDS!

90% junk silver represents at least 80% of my stack.

I probably have a lot less 90% than most people because I never pay a premium. I trade off stuff with a premium especially in down markets so 90% goes first. One day I'll pull out all the junk 90% and trade it for something with more potential. The goal is to end up with almost all 90% and all scarce date coins. Doesn't look like I'll make it. I also like world better date coin.

I don't believe that it matters too much, since the market and premiums adjust to current conditions constantly. The 90% silver that I bought today at a discount to spot may well have a decent premium when the time comes to sell it. ASE premiums have also fluctuated widely, depending upon the market.

Mine is basically all .999 bars and coins, I don’t really have any 90% other than certified numismatic pieces.
And of course, gold coins and a few little bars…

    Varying answers. Love it! Thx…

I’m very close to 80/20 heavy on 999 and will probably try and keep it close to that. Until I change my mind AGAIN lolz

Either way I stack silver, my wife prefers stacks of hay and alfalfa.

0%. It’s not because I don’t like 90% silver, I do. It’s just the current state of my PMs. Sold all of my 90% silver and bought gold with it a while ago. Haven’t added to the PM stack unless you count numismatic gold and silver. Hoping prices retreat so I can add some more ounces of both AU and AG.
