As the owner of the 1838-C HE that is featured I will make a comment here. I hope that is ok.
You are correct that the coin does not look anything like the TV photo. I can't replicate that look at all.
Your photo is spot on if I hold the coin in direct light (easiest would be sunlight). I probably made the comment "somewhere in between" because I don't usually view coins that way. I usually just take them out and see them in room lighting. In that setting, the coin just appears to have some orange tones. I also find a photo can be different depending on the monitor/phone the photo is viewed on.
Your photos are true to the look of the coin. The QE Classic Head I purchased from you is a match as well. Very happy with both purchases from you.
