    It was attacked.

    Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

    It looks like it was put in a vice and bent to an angle then straightened… twice with the bends perpendicular to one another.

    The bends run through the date and above and parallel to each bend it 2 vice clamp marks.

    It's all about what the people want...

    id be inclined to agree but on the reverse the damage looks unfamilar over all who would do this to a coin and why? besides bordom

    Perhaps it was run over a vehicle. Then it got stuck to the tire so it slid a little ways.

    You only live life once, enjoy it like it's your last day. It just MIGHT be!
