This is the only one I have and I really do like them. I bought this one because its got a really nice strike. The 1923-S is know for having very an exceptionaly poor strike. This one is exceptional. Even nicer than the top graded peace dollars on the PCGS app.
It looks much better in person. It has some rub marks but no heavy dings.
I should definetly have it graded.

Since I chose to do a DATE set, instead of a complete set, only 10 coins are needed, AND I was able to select the most common (cheapest) mint for each year (Philadelphia). As such, I was then able to afford higher grades, which I would not have done if I chose to do a complete set. Even so, none of mine are graded above 66+.
My 1927 has subsequently been upgraded to a 65+, and my 1935 to a 66+.

Nice display, really attractive, lustrous coins. I bet there are some real blazers in there.

What a gorgeous coin! I couldn’t help myself, but I had to look up the grade. I can’t believe it’s “only” a 65. Have you thought about sending it back to PCGS, either via Reconsideration, or Regrade?
My 1928 is also graded MS65, but yours is nicer than mine! Enjoy!

Steve, well funny story, because I just realized that’s not my coin 🤣
I must have saved it to my coin photo album because I had the same thought that you did about the grade, but I can’t remember when or where I came across it. lol
My coin is a this still nice but less impressive 64+ CAC, which I bought as a 64 CAC and earned the plus on Recon. Nice jump to the plus grade esp. w/CAC on this issue so was thrilled with the upgrade.

A few brilliant white coins purchased many years ago, when I first started collecting Peace dollars.
Beautiful! The 27P and 35P are underrated - it’s really hard to find nice examples in MS62-64!
Thought PCGS was a little conservative on the 35P grade. Always liked how the Peace reverse looked like there was an aura ring around the Eagle.
Really nice peace dollars guys. Nice strokes and color. The show much luster in hand.
