Opinions wanted on these Tony Gwynn signed cards
1980's hobby veterans may remember the Sports Collectors Digest columnist Dave Miedema used to have a column called "Up Autograph Alley" where he would let readers know which baseball players were reliable 'through the mail' signers.
Tony Gwynn was a known signer and I sent all of these cards for him to sign (care of the Padres) over a time period. The signatures seem to be a few different styles: more of a round loopy signature and in the last picture, a group that is more sharp and angular. I have looked on eBay at PSA DNA examples and it seems there are many different looking signatures that are encapsulated. I saw some eye popping numbers under 'sold items' for his signed 1983 Topps card. This got me thinking of submitting some of these. What are your thoughts on the signatures and what would be the best PSA service to use (ie - 'authentic', grade the signature, grade both signature and card)? I have never sent a signed card to PSA before.

I'd posted these a year or so ago when I got them back after PSA ran a special. These were all gotten through the mail back in like 85/86. Every card I had signed back then came back authentic. Hope these help.
They look similar to his playing days quick signatures at spring training or BP etc. I would get the auto's graded. If you're interested in selling any of them send me a PM.
Those r very authentic gwynns
Thanks all for the quick responses.
