What have you sold lately ? (Showing prices is not necessary) Did it help you purchase another coin?

Selling some duplicates and low-priced world coinage I bought long ago. Indirectly it's contributing to other coins I bought this year but not the reason I sold it. I just wanted to get rid of it.

    Thanks, I modified it.

@semikeycollector. Those are some great coins you sold. I had already commited to a different auction so could not bid on 2 of your coins. I will have to see what they sold for,
The gold coin is quite impressive. Is this the start of a new collection or is this the new rock star of your current set? James

@semikeycollector . The 74-s sold for more than i could have bid. I'm still not sure the 49-o was correctly identified. I can clearly see a flag on top of the 1 in the date and a few other things but that is with pictures; in hand coins can be quite different. Congrats on both your sales and purchase. james

The only “coins” I’ve parted with in the past 6 years are 14 gold 1/10th oz eagles. All in the past 4 months and all included in trades for nice coins (and 1 Lincoln campaign medal) I really wanted.

Very happy and proud owner of all the newer additions to my collection.

Thank you James! The gold coin is part of a set of better date Liberty $5. There are 5 coins now in the set. If I make it to 10 or 12 coins, I will be happy.

I had a full date/mm set of the Seated Dimes about 4 years back minus the 1873-cc N/A. Did Seated for 30+ years, wanted to collect something else.

Are you putting together sets? Thanks for asking!

I originally collected Seated Halves. Started with Seated in 1997. Sold a lot because of covid. Built some partial sets of Seated Dimes and Quarters post covid. Have about 10 or so Seated coins i am still looking for but just embarked on a customized type set of Barber coins this month. James

Since the post didn't specify selling coins, I'll mention that my custom album sales have fueled a couple of transactions for new pieces in my collection. Two months ago, I traded a Women Quarter album with P-D-S business strikes for P + D innovation dollars and less than two weeks ago I sold two Hawaii albums towards buying an 1865-S half dime.

    Sold this one.
I upgraded my 89-CC recently and it will eventually help me purchase more upgrades of other dates for my Morgan Collection.

The only time I sell is if the coin is substandard and/or to help fuel another purchase.

I've sold quite a bit this year via GC and this closed last week. Should be another group of Matron Cent Overdates listing this weekend.
