LEONARD ALBRECHT, 78 PASSED ON OCT. 22

I am informed that Leonard Albrecht, former ANACS Grader, Director and coin dealer passed Oct. 22nd.
Leonard Albrecht Obituary, I worked with him in the 1980's until he moved ANACS to Ohio in 1990.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Albrecht of Aurora, Colorado, born in Pueblo, Colorado, who passed away on October 22, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leonard Albrecht to pay them a last tribute.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Leonard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Leonard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara. He is survived by: his daughters, Tami and Tracy.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Olinger Hampden Mortuary & Cemetery (8600 E Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231). A reception will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

    Leonard was a great guy. I first met him at the ANA Branch Summer Seminar held in State College, PA in 1981, where he was in my class. In his previous life he had been a Fire Fighter in Pueblo, CO, but he had lost a lower leg in a job related injury and was looking for a new career. He was planning to become a coin dealer.

    He was having trouble with the prosthetic, and because of my own handicap the ANA had gotten me a rental car to drive around campus, so I was his chauffer for the week. A few months later we hired him.
