Im thinking of trying to make a set of these from circulation. I went to the bank today to see what they had and a teller handed me a $100 strap of CU from Atlanta, dated 2013. I didnt have any more money or I would have picked up more. Does anyone want to trade with me before I break it open and take a couple of examples for myself?

Please excuse the incorrect forum. :#

  • Here is a date set uncirculated 2 dollar bills. I'm a fan of the 2 dollar bills. Have about 300 uncirculated including 5 1928's.
I read a funny story of a guy went to a fast food restaurant and tried to pay with 2 dollar bills, and the youngsters behind the counter called the cops thinking he was trying to pay with counterfeit money, They never saw a 2 dollar bill before.

Its been a while, but I remember back when the $20 looked a lot like the $2 and people would try to pass them off as $20's in a dimly lit bar (where I happened to bartend).

  • Thanks for the comment, I think the 2 dollar bill was unique and that was why I started collecting them. I like the $2 denomination in the obsolete notes from the 1800's I have a few of them and also have and like the $3 denomination.
