Anybody else get one yet?
These things are about as durable and well-made as I’ve seen as for these plastic type boxes…

    Not a bad idea

I like it and I will definitely get one for all of my CACG coins.

Does the CAC box hold slabs from other TPGs? I've got several PCGS boxes that won't accommodate CAC holders or earlier NGC slabs...

They should put a CAC Coin inside every box of 1000.

At the Worlds Fair of Money a couple months back, i was "this close" to getting a free box from the CAC booth. Maybe when i send some coins in for restickering and some new submittals.

Yes the CAC slab box will accommodate every slab that I've tried. However, there have been some complaints about difficulties in opening the CAC boxes once slabs are in them. I haven't had much issue myself but have read those complaints.

Edit to add; rattlers are still loose like they are in every slab box.

Yes. Got one at ANA WFoM and it held PCGS, NGC, ANACS, ICG, and of course CACG.

Since I have a real mix of CAC, PCGS, and NGC, I sold off all my other boxes and bought a bunch of the CAC -- all fit perfect and it keeps the slabs very stable and well made. Hard to open for a while though.

They're very nice boxes, just don't put PCGS slabs near the center of the box or it will be very hard to open.

I like the white cardboard boxes they return your graded coins into you. They are really tough and th smaller size box helps in the storage if the coins too.

The “key” to opening the CAC box (lol) is to pinch the bottom piece in the middle. Then the top is easily removed!

As my friend @messydesk correctly stated, due to the shape/size of PCGS slabs, don’t place those in the middle of the box!

    How did you convert them?
I'm thinking maybe some kind of insert around the slab?

1rst Gen CAC boxes had trouble opening when PCGS slabs were in them. At ANA, CAC reps told me that the 2nd Gen box no longer has that problem. I have about 7 or 8 of these now, both Gens. I guess I need to compare with P slabs inside. But mostly been using them for CACG slabs………...

That's my understanding, too. I've just never tried it and am reluctant to.

    I meant moving to them

I moved my slabs to them when the CACG boxes came out. No problems (no conversion process necessary) in getting them in there. They all fit nicely - CACG, PCGS, NGC, ICG, Anacs (have non in the smaller holders). I find sorting them by TPG, denom / date works for me.

As far as problems opening them few and far between. Squeezing on the part below if the lid gets any difficult ones open.

    Thanks.
I'll check with CAC or even eBay for purchase.
