Sanchez

just saw footage of him the night of the incident. he was wobbling up and down alleys and streets, then he wobbled back in sight with a blood-stained shirt. at one point he stops walking and backs up against a building, and a passerby -- who was clearly taken aback by what he saw -- speaks to him.
the truck driver was just doing his job. dude turned the corner and went out of sight, long before Sanchez was there.
bottom line: alcohol-induced insanity. married with 3 kids and has a cush football gig, yet makes decisions that result in these types of predicaments. will be interesting to see how hard his wrist gets slapped.
crazy, man. completely nonsensical.

To be sure damage control is already in the works. First offense should soften the sentence, if it gets that far.
The wind sprints before the incident unfolded is weird
Let’s see what happens when the bartender(s) who were serving him get identified.
Hopefully he gets the help he needs. He obviously has some substance abuse issues. This is the stuff that can tear lives and families apart, rather than judging I will pray for Mark and those involved and affected.
Wife, kids, and a cake job - threw it all away for what? Sitting in a bar getting drunk and possibly having people (women) giving him attention because he is an Ex NFL QB? Sounds like he's friends with Urban Meyer.....
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
And this is the rub, we don't know what Sanchez is up to privately, if the guy is messed up on drugs or alcohol it's only a matter of time before something like this happened
If that's the case I hope the guy is ok and gets straightened out but there is a victim here and that guy didn't deserve this so Sanchez deserves some punishment whatever it may be
as has been my refrain for years here, why do people, especially the rich and famous, choose to drink alcohol in public? Not one good thing can come from it. If the rich and famous do choose to drink, why not build a beautiful bar in their mansion, invite all their rich and famous friends and there are no problems.
why risk it all?
I will never understand
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
I'm thinking that anyone who goes to the bars are trying to pick someone up, I know that's what I used them for and if I'm going to bar now I'm still looking to pick someone up.
He was away on business so he probably figured he would rip it up and go to the bars and see what he can do
this bar was out of town. drink in the hotel room?
How did everyone just move on past the wind sprints thing so easily? I feel stupid that I'm still trying to wrap my head around that one.
the cams didn't capture the combine prep work, unfortunately (at least the footage i saw)
probably ran a 4.4 40 after 18 beers

You and me both, I can imagine in his drunkenness he probably was thinking the Jet's could use a QB and wanted to see if he still had it
Anyone here ever get too wasted but still felt lucid enough to take on all opponents in a fit of bravado? Throw entitled former pro athlete with gung ho attitude into the mix and you have a live explosive. Maybe he got brushed off at the bar while trying to hook up. I can imagine Sanchez doing the wind sprints in the alleyway and maybe the truck driver got curious and asked what he was doing out there and Sanchez just started trippin’, tried to joyride the truck(?), attacked the guy, messed up his face, who the heck does all that crazy sh!t unless they’re really, REALLY wasted?
Yeah, right to the bathroom.
this right here is EXACTLY why I will never understand this type of behavior.
I have never understood the desire to "enhance" my life by using alcohol or drugs in the first place, but why oh why would someone with so much to lose risk it all just to get loaded up?
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
