I need help Identifying a Lincoln cent, a mm, and who put a modern style tie on Abe ?

Filters were used to define the mm and if any scratches were present.

My design app, picked this modern tie up on it's own, using brightness and contrast.

The tie image will only come in clear with other filters.
The tie image seems to be hidden suggesting intentional. (?)
Mint mark image ? Above my pay grade. (what ?)
The D mm has a mind of it's own, looking for a home. Like this one below.
