From photo hard to tell difference from Cleaned to just AU wear or scuff. Guess in hand those parallel lines run horizontally across Liberty. But should not be a 62.
I prefer PCGS over CACG FWIW.
I wouldn't have cracked it out, just sent it back for the attribution.
Let us know how you are going to proceed and how it turns out.

At the risk of sounding stupid, is it possible to have a AU obverse and BU reverse?
The reverse of 78 Morgans show wear on the obverse more obviously than they do on the reverse because the eagle's breast is flat, so having only the obverse look AU is definitely possible. The reverse could have also been protected by something the coin was placed in at one time, leaving the obverse exposed.

Won't let me upload reverse full pic
Cool variety. I'd have to see it in hand to comment on the grading aspect of the coin.

I probably would have guessed obverse cleaned, unc. details. What was the reason for the crackout?

Wanted the attribution (wasn’t on PCGS slab) and wanted the coin in a CAC holder at hopefully close to the same grade.
