Just read it on ESPN.com. Some scouts had him going #1 in the 1998 draft but he went #2 to San Diego I think.

    Yeah I know. He's played for like 4 or 5 different teams in 4 seasons.

    he has struggled in the NFL. He should stay and just be like 3rd string... or try it out in arena football... or come to the CFL and play

    well.. it would be a shame to throw out his talent... and he does have talent. I just dont think he was ready for the NFL. Maybe arena or CFL football would help his confidence and maybe... he will play like he used to

    I agree with euphoria, I think he should go and try out in Arena Football or even in the CFL. Maybe there's someone out there who can encourage him and train him to do well. Then, he could possibly come back to the NFL and be as good as expected. He was pretty d@mn good in College!

    I think the Arena league would help him alot. He could fine tune his skills there and team scouts would still be able to watch him and maybe sign him or he at least would be playing. If I had that kind of talent it would kill me not to be on the field.

    Michael Bishop's doin a good job in the CFL this year, he wasn't a high pick I don't think, but he was a pretty good college QB. Leaf should think about it, or go in to real estate like Heath Shuler.

    YA MICHAEL BISHOP HAS A REALY STRONG ARM I REMEMBER HIM WHEN HE THREW THAT PASS WHEN HE BACKED UP IN NEWENGLAND. I ACTUALY KNOW MICHAEL BISHOP'S AUNT. SHE SAID HE REALY WANTS TO GET BACK TO THE NFL AND HE HOPES SOMEONE WILL SEE WHAT HE CAN DO OVER THERE IN THE CFL AND PICK HIM UP.

    Yeah, Michael Bishop was AWESOME in College, but I had that feeling like he wouldn't be all that great in the NFL. Whatever happened to Chad Pennington? He was awesome...but I never heard anything about him playing in the NFL.

    As for Pennington, I think he went to high school right around where I used to live. Doesn't make him any good tho.

    ya, Kurt Warner played at University of Northern Iowa before his arena league days... You see he was good in the arena league tho.. He lead the Barnstormers to acouple Arena Football League Title games... I bet there is a hand full of people that could be the next Kurt Warner but goes un-notice...

    Yup yup yup... us lucky San Diegans welcomed him... then eventually kicked him 2 da curb (although that admittedly took WAY too much time... guess one's gotta try and make a multi-million dollar contract work). He's probably got $20M sitting in the bank, so I'm not surprised he's getting out.
