1921-P Die Break through L or just my imagination?

Howdy folks,
I am very new to this hobby, so figured I would ask for help when needed. I noticed this little uh-oh at the L on the obverse, so need some knowledge about what it is.
Thanks for the help!
Kerry

Not a die break, it is damage.
You can see the displaced metal from it has taken a hit.

  • Thanks!
I won't waste my money getting it graded then. :p

Even if it was a die break, why would you waste $55-60.00 getting it graded.
It would only be worth a couple of dollars even if the TPG recognized it.
Unless a coin is worth $150-200.00, it doesn’t pay to get graded.

Small die cracks and chips don't add any value to coins. The whole error thing has been blown out of proportion by social media videos and youtube. Truth of the matter, the vast majority of errors add no value at all to coins, some add very little, very few add any substantial amount. Some can even decrease the value of a coin.
