There is only one Nolan Ryan vs Bob Gibson game in history. June 20, 1969.

Ryan's first five seasons was in the national league, so you would think they would've faced each other more than once.

Instead during that timeframe, more often Ryan went up against Steve Carlton. Not like it was any easier lol
