Hard to believe baseball stat - Nolan Ryan
in Sports Talk
There is only one Nolan Ryan vs Bob Gibson game in history. June 20, 1969.
Ryan's first five seasons was in the national league, so you would think they would've faced each other more than once.
Terry Bradshaw was AMAZING!!

Who won?
Ryan. Although Gibson hit a home run.

Ryan was the 4th or 5th starter on those Mets teams. Gibson would be facing Tom Seaver instead.
Instead during that timeframe, more often Ryan went up against Steve Carlton. Not like it was any easier lol
