Authentic or Reprint - 1956 Cadet Sweets

A while back I bought a set of this stuff because I wanted one of the cards. They look too white. Too sharp.
To me they look like they're probably reprints. CGC says this one is real though.

If you look on eBay, nearly every single one of the cards from this set is near mint. I think these cards were issued in candy. In 1956.
FWIW, here are some cards from a set made in 1953 likely distributed in a similar manner.
