... I found the PCGS U.S. Coin Forum on September 5, Labor Day weekend 2006.
After decades of not collecting coins it was just luck that I found this place and could take advantage of the years and years of knowledge all the collectors and dealers share here.
I've learned a ton, been to dozens of shows, had fun and made some awesome friends.
This was my first CAC coin.

Been here almost 14 years. I joined as an afterthought and now I wish I had done it sooner. Had many great discussions and made good friends. Here is my first CAC Coin. I got it from GC. It’s appreciated in value, a lot, since I purchased it. It’s also housed in an old green holder.

The first certified coin I ever bought, still in the rattler and now also CAC certified. Not my first coin sent to CAC, but one of the early submissions before I was accepted as a collector submitter that a collector friend in GA sent in for me.

First coin I bought off the BST, soon after joining in 2007, from PonyExpress, who shipped the coin before he even received my personal check in the mail.
I only “lurked” on the forum for a couple of weeks, then decided to join. I wished I’d found it sooner!

I’m almost positive that this is the first CAC coin I have ever purchased.
I joined not too long after you did, the last day of 2007 if I’m remembering correctly.
This is the longest held gold coin in my collection. I got it back in 2016, this started my 12 piece type set…
