Opinions on this 1826 Coronet Head Large Cent

Is this coin the N8 1826/5 CHLCent? There are known EDS's and LDS's which the upper 6 is quite different. Wonder if this might be a MDS. All the diagnostics appear to be there for me, but wish to get others opinions.
Thanks
Jim

Looks close but with the slab scratches… inconclusive.
The “dot” above the star (if not slab scratches/debris) looks like it lines up with the left side of the star, the coinfacts example seems to line up towards the right.
The business going on at the top of the 6 looks like it could be a hit/ contact mark.
The right side of the 6 looks to be oriented farther left on the top photo, where the NGC seems much farther right compared to denticle placement.
If I was trying to cherry one of these I would pass, however, I am largely unfamiliar with this series and this variety is previously unknown to me.

Looks like it to me... I usually go by the die gouge above the last star. To me, it's one of the better diagnostics for this elusive overdate. The die gouge is present on your example even though it appears slightly worn. Happy Hunting!

@Aspie_Rocco It can sometimes be hard to compare MS vs VF worn coin. Note the difference in the Die States the small die gouge appears moved more to the left in the LDS than the EDS, plus who knows what all has contacted this die gouge in nearly 200 years. It also appears to have some doubling on the 8 or could be contact marks. The coin is back at PCGS to be attributed. Here's hoping.

Looking at The Cent Book, it looks like an N-1 and not the N-8.
On the obverse...date spacing is wrong for N-8 but matches the N-1. Rim break over Star 6 and the dash after the 6 in the date also match the N-1.
On the reverse... the key leaves are quite similar, but match the N-1. The PLS and PLF are not quite as right on the N-1. The A3 closeness to the ribbon also matches the N-1.
I'll agree with the N-1 attribution, not the overdate, for the same reasons as listed above my post.
