    Matte uncirculated 1977 5 Kina

This is part of enormous holding I got a number of years ago in an Aussie auction and evidently was a gift to the governor or head of the Central Bank of Papua New Guinea.....

Cool. There's a matte 10 Kina for sale, on eBay, which is for sale by a popular Aussie seller. Very rare coin. I'd put it on my watch list but import taxes etc wouldn't be worth it.

I must look at the mintage figures of the 1977 matte 5 Kina. Presumably the same as the matte 10 Kina?

1984worldcoins - you must have a great collection. No matter what country is selected you always own a coin from it. Unless you are just posting images found on the interwebs?

I only post my own coins, photos made by me. I indeed have like 80% of all 1984 coin types. I miss the gold and platinum, since those are beyond my purchasing power.

What's not to like with the Bird of Paradise?

Swan song Proof Set from the Franklin Mint, 1984

Mintage on the 1977FM 5K matte unc. is 166. This is similar to other years but seems to be harder to locate.
