Welcoming myself back to the Forum!

Hey all!

Ive taken some time to myself, a few years that is, to myself and my family. Other priorities in life lead me away from commenting and contributing here. Three years ago, I was promoted to Staff Seargent and last year hit 20 years of service in the National Guard. I now have a nearly two-year-old boy who is my everything. A series of promotions at work, which lead me from retail buying and selling to now wholesale market making and purchasing way more material than I ever imagined. Supervising individuals in multiple departments within the company. Also, and most importantly, we bought our dream home; outside city limits, 4 acres, barn, chicken coop, out buildings, huge gardens, small start to an orchard. What more could a guy want.

Numismatic accomplishments have been few over of the last couple of years. Currently #5 on the Barber Dime Registry Set and #1 on NGC's registry of the same. I am still the Bourse Chairman of the local coin club, new contracts with better local hotel to expand our most popular show. Really looking to grow the coin club with advertising and a new mentality to how our shows are run.

What have been a few member achievements that I have missed while on my hiatus?

    Nice to see you back, @Jinx86. Still collecting Columbiana?? I scaled back and sold most of my standard coins and now have turned my focus to Exonumia. Remember this one, I bought it at Stack's around the same time you picked up your E-106 from Heritage.

    --- try Granny Smiths in the orchard.

    @jinx86 Congratulations and welcome back.
    I have a small 4 acre plot myself with barn, gardens, and fruit trees I planted(planting 4 more this fall). Love it, but mostly because it's the house I was born in nearly 78 years ago. I hope you enjoy your new home a fun place for a young boy to grow up.

    What you missed? Some new guy asked TDN to crack out some proof trade dollars and count the edge reeds… 🤣😆
    A few folks got into arguments, some were banned , some passed on, and a ton of cool coins were posted (none of which were found in parking lots)
