Some Finds from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan Copper

I went up to Houghton Mi in the upper peninsula and found what I think is called float copper. Has anybody else hunted for this type of copper? It was a lot of fun!

    I never metal detected, but I did visit the Delaware Mine near Copper Harbor, and you could search the ground for bits of copper, I took home a few. This part of the world has some of the best native metal copper that there is.

    Oh cool. This is the first time I have ever done this type of metal detecting. I did make a couple of surface finds.
