Tennis - Why does a Duel Auto hurt a card's value?

I was browsing Heritage and noticed something that confused me — the 2024 Topps Chrome Tennis Dual Auto Superfractor 1/1 of Carlos Alcaraz & Novak Djokovic is up for auction, but the price seems way behind where recent Alcaraz 1/1s have landed on their own.
On the face of it, you’d think adding Djokovic — arguably the GOAT — would push the value higher, but it actually looks like it’s hurting the card. I could understand if the second auto was a lower-tier or unproven player, but we’re talking about a 24-time Slam champion.
So my question for the community: why do dual-player autos sometimes end up being worth less than a solo superstar card? Is it just the hobby preferring single-player focus, or is there more to it?
Curious what people here think — feels like an odd dynamic in the market.

Why does a Duel Auto hurt a card’s value? Well. If it does it could only be because it’s…. EnCard!
Isn’t every auto a 1/1? There would seem to be a problem if they aren’t.
