Maybe of interest to Oriole fans and others. Titled "The Last Manager" by John Miller. Picked it up at the local library. Should be a good read. Will update when read it.

    it had been a hot minute since i had feasted my eyeballs on this little gem, but blue's post led me to it

    Glad u posted this. A classic along with Lasorda. The Weaver meltdown was described in the book I am reading. So far a good book, especially about his early managing days in Elmira,NY. Also selling cars as a side job.

    According to the book I am reading MLB tried to confiscate the video of this event and they were unsuccessful. In fact a security guard was asked to get involved and he refused to take any action. Lucky for us and history we have this on tape.
