BJ - Would it be easier to take the 69 Variations issue off-line?

As was pointed out earlier in one of the threads - my guess is that you're getting a headache from all of this. Would it be easier to start out working with the top 6 players in the 1969 set registry and ask them to formulate a plan that they feel will be acceptable to them as well as most (I repeat - MOST) of the masses?
I think its coming down to two camps - those who care about the variations and those who don't. Within the top 6 - both sides are represented.
When they're finished - you agree- and you're all satisfied - present it on the board.
Just a suggestion - because I can see the waters getting muddier and muddier the longer this goes on.
