Research in the literature AND in auction sales data show that the 1915 Proof Barber Dimes are quite difficult to find in this grade and higher. This PR65+ has a PCGS pop of only 2 (none by NGC).

To show the difficulty of 1915 Barber Dimes even at the PR65 level of getting a CAC sticker, here's the data:

There are 46 graded PR65 (16 by PCGS and 30 by NGC). Of those 46 graded PR65, only 6 have a CAC sticker (the two at PR65+ each have stickers, so the CAC pop shows a total of 8)!

This coin with the plus grade is tough to price. The PCGS Price Guide for PR65+ is at $2,250 (PR66 is at $4,000). What makes it confusing is the CAC Price Guide for PR66 is a shockingly low $1,900. However, I cannot find any auction sales to support that low price for a PR66. In April 2022, when pricing was lower than today, and the PCGS Price Guide at that time was at $3,150 for a PR66, there was an auction sale at $3,350. As pricing rose over time, the PCGS Price Guide for a 66 as noted went to the currant level of $4,000. Separately, in July 2020, at the peak of Covid when prices were very low, a 65+ sold for $1,645 at auction. At that time during Covid, the PCGS Price Guide for a PR65+ was at $1,550. As noted above, it's now $2,250.

My price is $2,075, including expedited shipping, with payment via PayPal (NOT Friends & Family, as this way we both have their protection). If I know you well from this forum, you can pay by check, and then it's only $1,995. A Direct signature will be required upon delivery. Will only sell to someone in the U.S. with a U.S. mailing address!
