New Purchase Question

I was up at the fun show and picked up a lot of silver war nickels and was recently going through them and found this coin. I know it probably isn't an error, but just wanted to be sure before throwing it back in the bag. Thanks for your time!

You didn't specify what it is you are questioning. I'll have to assume it's the laminations/delaminations on the reverse.

If that's it, then yes, it is an error, but it's very common on these.

Looks like a lamination from here on a well worn coin. I'm not sure about any value 🤔

Check you 1943 war nickels for the 1943/2 overdate variety. PCGS Coin Fact show close-up pics of what to look for.

Laminations like that on Warnicks are extremely common and rarely carry much,
    If any, premium.

Ok, thank you everyone. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't worth a bunch of money. I was checking for the 1943/2 variety when I found this coin.
