Has anybody publicly admitted they purchased a coin from China?
A not so good shipping time either. Its all a no go anyway....
I did by mistake. Not from China but a Chinese fake from some dude in California. It was a heavily toned, fake Old Spanish Trail. The tantrums the seller threw when I told him it was counterfeit were epic. "I took it to three dealers!" "I'm being ripped off!" "YOU'RE A CROOK!" The best part was apparently the mail in his housing complex is dumped on a table or bin and someone stole it from that mail pile after it was marked delivered. OMG the screaming and whining!
Karma.
I buy raw US and World coins from trusted sellers in China with some regularity. Every single one has gone on to be authenticated and holdered by PCGS.

I've bought raw world coins from China and other sellers in Asia. I've also sold to them. This discussion always borders on xenophobia.
Same here, although some of mine were already certified or were left raw because they were inexpensive items not worth grading. There are plenty of solid sellers all over the world, one just has to do some minimal due diligence before purchasing.
My Bad. Trusted being the key word. I assumed we were talking about the latest onslaught of located in China coins on Ebay.
