Where's the lamination here? I can't find it.

A major grading firm that will remain nameless declined to slab this coin because of a lamination. I can't find it. Can you help? Thanks in advance.

Appreciate the help. I still like this coin and think its a possible AU. Will submit elsewhere.

They will grade it under the error level. I had a 1959 Lincoln return in a Details holder due to lamination. I didn’t even notice it when I submitted it.

I'll bet the second level services will slab it and put "lamination" on the label. I've seen them for sale before. Did the TPGS keep your money too?

LOL, and how much more does the Error Level cost? One day this "bubble" is going to pop.

Normally it gets an error label. I've never had someone return a coin as ungradeable due to lamination.

I definitely don't see the lamination on your coin. Where is it?

If you submit the coin to PCGS as an error, provided there are no other problems, they will straight grade the coin as (for example) MS 62 Lamination
If you submit it as a regular coin it’s gonna get a details label.

You can see it better on the TrueView.
Look for the triangle shaped dark area on the reverse. The photo makes it look dark, it isn’t.

Thanks. My Buffalo is also a 2-feathers. Will they charge me for both variety and error?
