1934 25C DDO-002? I'm still terrible at identifying doubling...

I bought a 1932-1964 set and this Medium Motto 1934 stood out to me as a possible DDO. It's obviously not "the" 1934 DDO, but it does appear to be a 1934 DDO. [?]
I'm hoping maybe late stage DDO-002 (NGC VP-002)... Thoughts?

not a ddo
Die chip on cheek marker? Maybe I'm looking too hard.
Not even close.
What he said.
The first step when attributing a variety is to find some feature in the variety that you feel is hit-yourself-over-the-head obvious. For me, that's the notching at the bottom left of the I and T in IN GOD WE TRUST. (FWIW, this is generally called a "pick-up point" or PUP)
Do you see that notching in the reference pictures you linked to?
Do you see that notching -- anything even remotely similar to that notching -- on your coin?
If you don't have an exact match, you don't have the variety.
Edit to say, after more information I think no it is not
Yes it looks like you are correct, that appears to be DDO 002 per variety vista.
I do not see the chip on the cheek on Your coin or variety vista
If your coin is heavily circulated it would explain the lack of clear notching. If it is AU or UNC then I would say no it is not.

Get a pic of UNI in United States from the reverse, to see the die gouge diagnostic.

I mean, it's not a great picture but I kind of DO see a notch there... It's not as clear a notch but I thought maybe the die had deteriorated, or maybe a similar DDO from this year, or maybe I'm just looking too hard...
I should stick to design varieties hah
I am comparing to this example.

I don't know.
I'll get reverse pictures tomorrow.
Thanks. Good call.
Pretty sure this is it. Reverse matches, exactly [?]. Bad pictures again but I definitely see the die crack through STA and die scratches behind UNI.
It's at least close.
I do not see the scratches in UNI or States. Is your coin heavily circulated?

No, not heavily circulated but definitely a worn die. If they're their, they're very very light... Would they fade with die wear?
I should get a new microscope - the lines I am seeing are barely pixel width in this photo.
between TA in states there is a line. in the example it is crammed down closer to the bottom of both letters. yours has it higher. anyway, it's not doubled
that is from die deterioration
Yes, I was looking at the notches on the I and T and R, right side of the R's leg, belly side of the S in TRUST, thickness on LIBERTY and 1934 (especially the R and the 4).
Oh well... I tried.
No they would not disappear that much with die deterioration. I think it looked like F or less in grade, if it is not that worn then I think it is not the DDO. Some photos almost make it seem like doubling is there but other do not.
After more photos and learning the condition I think it is most likely not a DDO 002
