    People can watch an item from the search page without clicking on your listing.

    Thanks. I thought it was strange.

    I collect esoteric items, but I still find it very odd just how little views these items get. I dont pay eBay to "promote" my listings, so Ive always assumed they are buried.

    @Aspie_Rocco is right... I'll flip through countless Large Cent listings in a search, and then "heart?" them for later... sometimes, much later, depending on when the auction ends. I'm more interested in how many bidders there are and the final hammer...

    Collecting: Dansco 7070; Middle Date Large Cents (VF-AU); Box of 20;

    Successful BST transactions with: SilverEagles92; Ahrensdad; Smitty; GregHansen; Lablade; Mercury10c; copperflopper; whatsup; KISHU1; scrapman1077, crispy, canadanz, smallchange, robkool, Mission16, ranshdow, ibzman350, Fallguy, Collectorcoins, SurfinxHI, jwitten, Walkerguy21D, dsessom.

    How can you do this on GC? I've also noticed this happening.

    Same deal on GC you can check the box and add to watchlist on the bottom.

    I'm so stupid. Thanks so much.

    I believe another possibility is that the views might reset after some amount of time but the watchers don’t.

    This is true. I've had listings where the number of views goes down over a long period of time.

    This is true. I've had auctions where the number of watchers goes down over a long period of time.

    That's because they stopped watching (unchecked the box) not because the views reset.

    I've corrected my post. I meant "views".

    The number of "views" can decrease over prolonged time periods.

    That is what's important to you, after all. 🙄

    If I wanted to play that game I'd correct your frequent grammatical errors, but I already have a full-time job. 😆

    Which shouldn't happen for an auction...
