I know Jim well. That isn't his writing style. For sure his account has been compromised. I'll reach out via another method to ensure he knows.
Why would someone who had hacked an account send a message like that, which should discourage potential buyers?

The hacked accounts are likely being sold, with buyers who probably lack expertise in trading metals and are likely based outside the US.
While it is possible he wrote that to be facetious, I would assume his account is compromised. I bought a coin from him fairly recently and he requested a check and sent tracking right away. But the coin was priced a bit back of wholesale.
Assume that whoever is behind this has coins to take the photos, possibly sells off a few to keep trust alive. Then burns the account by ripping someone.
Probably already has access to several accounts.
I just talked to Jim on the phone. He didn't write the above. He cannot currently login to his account to regain control. If anyone has done a recent deal with Jim and needs to talk to him send me a PM. I'll relay to Jim and share his contact information if necessary.

He only accepts check, no PayPal so this is not him. Not sure why the hack would send a message like that but at this point appears to be toying with people. I understand it's the weekend but where on earth is @PCGS_Moderator ? THKS!
I did not post this! My account must have been hacked as well. Please don’t buy anything from me on the BST if you see a post there. I am not selling anything on the forum right now.
So the hackers take over both JimTyler's account and david3142. Then they start a thread using david3142's account calling out the hacked JimTyler account as being hacked?

This is bizarre.
It is weird-almost like someone got into the system at PCGS and is messing around.

My guess is that the account hasn’t been hacked and he was engaging in heavy duty facetiousness.
