The Missouri Numismatic Society show is held each July at the Saint Charles, Missouri Convention Center. The center is an excellent venue with plenty of free parking and has an Embassy Suites Hotel attached.
I left home at 6:22 AM on Wednesday. After 7 miles I pulled into Hardee's for breakfast. I usually get some kind biscuit and a cup of water through the drive thru and keep going. This time I went inside and had the biscuit and gravy. I drove 6 more miles and started to get very sick. I pulled over. I was lightheaded, sweating and throwing up. I have a hiatal hernia and have had two heart attacks. I was sort of having symptoms of both. I drove about 5 miles ( not a smart idea ) to the emergency room. They got me in immediately. They did about a dozen tests over the next 3 days. They said that I did not have a heart attack but did have some kind of a cardiac event. I was finally sent home at 6:30 on Friday night.
I really hate having to miss going to the show. Also, when I am in the Saint Charles area, I have breakfast with two cousins and then drive two hours to visit two more cousins on their farm. Darn, darn, darn.
I am also nearing 10,000 posts. My 10,000th post will be a giveaway contest. The prize will be one of the best ever posted on these boards. So, you might want to keep an eye out for that.

Id say most likely you had food poisoning from the biscuits & gravy that later triggered your cardiac event. Hence the early onset of vomiting.
If you got it, others did too that morning. Go on Google, get the address of that Hardee's and that county’s Heath Dept and email them. If they got other similar reports, things will happen.
You lost the experience at a major coin show so someone has to pay.
Sorry for your unfortunate incident. But glad that everything ended OK.

Glad you didn’t have a heart attack and you’re seemingly okay. I’d avoid Hardee’s and fast food moving forward.

That's terrible, glad you're ok. Wouldn't be a bad idea to check with your doctor for a follow up. Can't be taking chances

Sorry to hear you missed the show and the visit.
Really sorry to hear of your health scare but happy that it was not as serious as you first thought. There will always be another coin show, your good health is more important.
